MISSON WeeCycle’s mission is to help low income families with infants and toddlers in the Denver metro area by providing them with new and gently used baby gear free of charge. We acquire the gear through the charitable donations of individuals and businesses and distribute it through local community organizations already serving families with infants and toddlers affected by poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, teen pregnancy and under-employment. In carrying out this mission, we also contribute to environmental preservation by recycling and reusing baby gear and operating in an environmentally conscious manner.

WHY WEECYCLE? Cribs, car seats, strollers, changing tables, bouncy seats, high chairs…the list of basic gear you need when you have a new baby is endless...and expensive. All parents want to be able to provide for their children. But it’s not easy. Here in Colorado we have one of the fastest growing rates of children living in poverty in the country. The Colorado Children’s Campaign found that since 2000, the number of children living in poverty increased by more than 70%. Poverty, especially childhood poverty, affects all aspects of our community, including the job market, social services, family structure, educational attainment, crime, and health. We hope that by giving baby gear to families in need, we can help ease some of these hardships while providing infants and toddlers with the gear and toys essential to their healthy growth and development.
